47 year-old female presents with concerns about her abdominal skin excess.*

47 year-old female with a history of bilateral breast augmentation with saline implants presents with concerns about her abdominal contour and excess skin of the abdominal area. She was also concerned about her abdominal stretch marks. She had a full drainless tummy tuck in our JCAHO accredited facility in Downers Grove, IL under general anesthesia. We used Exparel to decrease her need for postoperative narcotics and reduce her pain. A drainless technique was used with quilting progressive tension sutures. Notice the improvement in the lower abdominal contour and the natural appearance of the belly button. We also use a very low scar position to allow the patient to cover the scar with clothing.
