A woman, after undergoing a Drainless Tummy Tuck and Liposuction procedure in April 2023 by Dr. Robert J. Paresi Jr. in Downers Grove, IL, reported a positive experience. The patient found the recovery process to be smoother than expected and was pleased with the outcome. Dr. Paresi’s expertise and the support from the clinic staff contributed to her overall well-being post-surgery. The patient’s surgery was done in our office-based accredited OR. The patient had general anesthesia. A drainless technique was used with Exparel injected into the abdominal wall at the time of surgery to decrease postoperative pain. The patient also had a small supraumbilical hernia that was repaired at the time of the tummy tuck. The patient’s postoperative recovery was uneventful.
