This is a 25 year-old female who wanted to go from an A cup to a C cup breast. She decided on silicone breast implants. She did sizing in the office and decided on 325 cc full profile implants. The implants were placed under the muscle (submuscular) via an incision under the breast (inframammary). The incision was placed in the lower fold of the breast. The patient had the surgery at our JCAHO accredited surgical facility in Downers Grove, IL. The implant was placed with a Keller funnel using a ‘no touch’ technique after being placed in a triple antibiotic solution. We injected Exparel around each breast pocket to reduce postoperative pain and decrease the need for postoperative narcotics. The patient tolerated the procedure without complications and at 6 weeks has a good cosmetic result.
