Reconstruction of Left Nasal Tip Defect with Skin Graft in Downers Grove, IL*

This is a 65 year-old female who presented with a left nasal defect after mohs surgery for a basal cell carcinoma. The patient had a large defect of the left nasal tip. The patient had reconstruction of the defect with a full thickness skin graft from the left preauricular area under local anesthesia. A bolster dressing was placed over the skin graft for one week after the surgery. At 3 months, the patient was completely healed with a good aesthetic outcome.
